You’ve probably seen a few of the colorful and whimsical murals that grace SoBo, but there are a lot more out there hiding in plain view. This Peninsula Post Scavenger Hunt challenges you to discover this SoBo artistry while exploring all our South Baltimore peninsula neighborhoods, from Sharp-Leadenhall on the west to Locust Point on the east.
The SoBo Peninsula 2026 Mural Hunt begins on Saturday, April 25, and wraps up on Sunday, May 3, at the “I Love SoBo Day” community celebration. Below are all the clues and instructions you’ll need for the Hunt. Download and print the Answer Sheet (link below) to record what you find. Bring your Answer Sheet to SoBo Day at the Baltimore Museum of Industry (1415 Key Highway) to find out how you did. Prizes will be awarded to the top scorers.

A limited number of printed copies of the Mural Hunt clues, instructions, and answer sheet are available at the Pratt Library (1251 Light St.) inside the second set of doors on a table next to the Peninsula Post.
Instructions
- Search for the 20 Murals pictured below. They are all visible from peninsula streets and parks. Each Mural has a letter designation (A-T). The Murals are located in one of the six numbered Areas on the peninsula map below. (Note on Area 4: There are no murals on or under I-95.) Tip: There are at least three murals in each Area.
- Once you find a Mural, write the number of the Area it’s in (1-6) on the line next to the Mural’s letter on the Answer Sheet. Each correct answer earns you 1 Point.
- To receive Bonus Points, answer the “Challenge Questions” listed below about ten of the Murals. The answers to these questions will be clearly visible when you visit the Mural. Write your 1-2 word answer on the Answer Sheet. Each correct answer earns you 1 Point.
- Bring your completed Answer Sheet to the SoBo Day information tables at the front of the BMI pavilion on Sunday, May 3, between 9:00 am and 12:00 pm. Our volunteers will score your answers.
- The highest possible score is 30 Points. Participants with a score of 24 Points or more receive a Prize. Participants with a score of 29 Points or more receive the Bonus Prize.
