SoBo Arts and Crafts Show Draws a Variety of Local Talent

The first-ever “SoBo Arts and Crafts Show and Contest” displayed the work of 15 SoBohemians during the annual “I Love SoBo Day” celebration at the Baltimore Museum of Industry on May 4. Nearly 300 attendees voted for their favorite pieces.

First place People’s Choice award went to Dreama Stafford for her illustration featuring Koba Café. Deanna Clark won second place for her cross-stitch of Baltimore’s Mr. Trash Wheel. Third place honors went to Julie Dennis for her painting “A Sweet Day in SoBo” of the interior of a Baltimore rowhome.

Carlie Sleeman: hand-knit cardigan
Linda Speaker: dried leaves, flowers, needles
Dreama Stafford: digital illustration
